The scope of this Technical Regulation
- Pressure vessels for compressed, liquefied, and pressure-dissolved gases and vapors, as well as for liquids, and used for fluids of groups 1 and 2
- Direct-fired heaters/vessels
- Boilers designed to produce hot water at temperatures above 110 °C, or steam t a gauge pressure above 0.05 MPa
- Piping and valves designed for compressed, liquefied, and pressure-dissolved gases and vapors, as well as for liquids, and used for working media of groups 1 and 2
- Components (assemblies) of equipment and associated parts and accessories designed to withstand pressure above 0.05 MPa
- Indicating and safety devices, excluding devices classified as measuring instruments
- Pressure (hyperbaric) chambers, other than single-person medical ones
- Safety devices and instruments
- Main pipelines, infield pipelines, and local distribution pipelines intended for the transportation of gas, oil and other products, excluding equipment used at the pressure regulating stations or compressor stations
- Gas distribution and gas consumption networks
- Equipment specially designed for use in nuclear power and equipment handling radioactive media
- Pressure vessels where the pressure is generated by an internal explosion as part of the technological process or by combustion in a self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) mode
- Equipment specially designed for use on sea and river vessels, other floating facilities, and underwater applications
- Braking equipment for rolling stock of railways, motor vehicles, and other means of transport
- Pressure vessels specifically designed for use on aircraft and other flying vehicles
- Equipment for defense purposes
- Parts of machinery that are not independent pressure vessels (casings of pumps or turbines, cylinders of steam, hydraulic, internal combustion engines, and air machines and compressors)
- Single-person medical pressure (hyperbaric) chambers
- Equipment with aerosol dispensers
- Enclosures of high-voltage electrical equipment (switchgear, switching mechanisms, transformers, and rotating electrical machines)
- Enclosures and casings for electric power transmission system components (power and communication cables) operating under excess pressure
- Equipment manufactured from non-metallic flexible (elastic) shells
- Exhaust or intake gas noise mufflers (silencers)
- Containers or siphons for carbonated beverages
- Water supply, distribution, and drainage networks for water at a temperature of 110 °C or less, as well as penstocks in hydroelectric power plants and their associated fittings
- Heating appliances and pipelines in water-based heating systems of buildings and structures
- Equipment and its components for supplying gaseous fuel (compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (or liquefied hydrocarbon gas), liquefied natural gas, fuel-grade dimethyl ether) to engines, specifically designed for use in wheeled vehicles
- Pipe support and hanger systems and their components
- Safety justification
- Technical passport of equipment
- Operating manual (instructions)
- Design documentation
- Strength analysis, capacity analysis for safety devices (if such are available according to the design)
- Process procedures and details of the technical processes (data on the used materials, semi-finished products, component parts, welding materials and of the methods and parameters of welding conditions and heat-treatment, non-destructive methods and results)
- Information on the tests (measurements) performed
- Equipment test reports performed by the manufacturer, by a representative authorized by a manufacturer and (or) by an accredited test laboratory
- Document confirming materials and complementary parts performance (if any)
- Certificates of conformity, declarations of conformity or test reports with regard to the materials, component parts (if any)
- List of standards that were voluntarily used when making (producing) equipment for compliance with TR CU 032/2013 from the list to the regulations (in case the manufacturer used them)
- Documents confirming qualification of specialists and personnel of manufacturer
- Other documents, which directly or indirectly certify conformity of equipment to TR CU 032/2013

What’s not covered
Certification or declaration of conformity
Certification shall be carried out with regard to equipment of categories 3 and 4 according to schemes 1c, 7c (for series-produced products), 3c (for batch of products) and 4c (for single item).
Declaring with regard to equipment of categories 1 and 2 as well as equipment of any category, which is finalized using permanent connections on site according to schemes 1d, 3d, 5d (for series-produced products) and 2d, 4d (for batch of products, single item).
