Starting from July 1, 2019, the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use" comes into force (TR EEU 045/2017).
TR EEU 045/2017 specifies obligatory for application and execution of the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union's oil security requirements in order to ensure protection of life and (or) human health, property, environment and prevention of actions misleading consumers, as well as to energy efficiency and resource conservation.
The object of technical regulation of this document is oil prepared for transportation and (or) use, produced for trade and being on the Union market.
TR EEU 045/2017 does not apply to oil exported outside the customs territory of the Union, delivered by the state defense order in storage in organizations that ensure the safety of the state material reserve, as well as used by the manufacturer (producer) of oil exclusively for their own needs.
